Frequently asked customer questions

Have questions about our Ohio-based professional therapy service? We’ve got your answer. We’ve put together answers to the most common questions about UCTS services, pricing, consultations, and how we support clients throughout Ohio.

Here you’ll find everything you need to know about connecting with UCTS.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, need extra support, or want help staying organized, UCTS may be a great fit for you. We work with individuals, to recognize their strengths, build on their abilities, and move confidently through life’s challenges.

Our vision is to empower individuals with mental wellness tools that will strengthen resilience and confidence to face the challenges of everyday life.

Your needs are unique, and we treat them that way. Here at UCTS, we’ll listen carefully to your situation and goals, then recommend treatment designed specifically to support you.

Getting started is simple and stress free. You’ll take a look at our website, complete a registration form, and we’ll connect with you to walk you through next steps to getting started with a therapist.

Your first therapy session is a chance for you and your therapist to get to know one another. You’ll cover confidentiality and basic paperwork, therapist will ask general questions like “What brings you in?” and “What are your goals?” to understand your story at your own pace, and you will wrap up by sketching out a loose plan for future sessions.

Note that it is normal to feel nervous beforehand or a bit “drained” afterward, as you process the conversation. It’s ok! We will help you move through that feeling.

That’s okay! It’s more common than you might think. A good therapist–client relationship is important, and it’s okay if the first match doesn’t feel right. You deserve to feel comfortable, heard, and supported.

If something doesn’t feel like a good fit, you can talk about your concerns or request a change. We won’t take it personal. Your comfort and progress always come first.
